नई दिल्ली: भारतीय रेलवे जल्द ही यात्रियों के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी लेकर आने वाला है। रेलवे अपने महत्वाकांक्षी मिशन ‘रफ्तार’ के तहत दिल्ली-हावड़ा रेल मार्ग पर ट्रेनों की गति बढ़ाने की तैयारी कर रहा है। 11 अक्टूबर से इस रूट पर हाईस्पीड ट्रायल शुरू होंगे, जिनमें ट्रेनें 160 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की गति से दौड़ेंगी। यह पहल देश की सबसे व्यस्त रेल लाइनों में तेज और सुरक्षित सफर सुनिश्चित करेगी और यात्रियों का समय भी बचेगा।

रेलवे 11 अक्टूबर को चिपियाना बुजुर्ग से टुंडला के बीच 190 किलोमीटर के हिस्से में पहला ट्रायल करेगा। अगर यह ट्रायल सफल रहता है, तो नई दिल्ली से टुंडला तक का यह खंड देश का पहला ऐसा रेलखंड बन जाएगा, जहां ट्रेनें इतनी तेज गति से चलेंगी। इसके बाद टुंडला-कानपुर, कानपुर-प्रयागराज और प्रयागराज-पंडित दीन दयाल उपाध्याय के बीच भी इसी तरह के ट्रायल किए जाएंगे।
