मेरठ: मेरठ के सौरभ हत्याकांड में आरोपी साहिल और मुस्कान से जुड़ी नई जानकारी सामने आई है, जिससे इस मामले की परतें और भी पेचीदी हो गई हैं। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, साहिल और मुस्कान ने अब तक की जांच के दौरान कुछ अहम खुलासे किए हैं, जिनमें ये बात सामने आई है कि दोनों नशे के आदी थे और साल 2019 से नशे की लत से जूझ रहे थे। यह दोनों न सिर्फ सूखा नशा लेते थे, बल्कि नशे के इंजेक्शन का भी सेवन करते थे।

सौरभ की हत्या से पहले भी दोनों ने नशा किया था, और हत्याकांड के बाद वे नशे के लिए हिमाचल प्रदेश के कसोल गए थे। दिलचस्प यह है कि दोनों ने कसोल में अपने रिश्ते को और अधिक छिपाया नहीं और होटल में रजिस्टर में खुद को पति-पत्नी के रूप में दाखिल कराया। वे वहां छह दिनों तक रहे और इस दौरान उनका समय नशे की लत में डूबा रहा।
