30 दिसंबर को अफगानिस्तानी क्रिकेटर राशिद खान के पिता ने इस दुनिया को हमेशा के लिए अलविदा कह दिया था। जिसके बावजूद वो 31 दिसंबर की शाम को बिग बैश लीग में खेले जाने वाले मैच का हिस्सा बने और वहां उन्होंने 34 रनों के नुकसान पर 2 विकेट भी लिए। इतना ही नहीं बीते साल , साल 2018 में उन्होंने बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि भी हासिल की थी।
बता दें कि साल 2018 में टी-20 फॉर्मेट में वो सबसे ज्यादा विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाज बन गए हैं। उन्होंने साल 2018 में 96 विकेट्स लिए हैं। मालूम हो कि उन्होंने अपने पिता के देहां’त की खबर ट्वीट के जरिए बताई है। उन्होंने अपने पिता की तस्वीर शेयक कर के लिखा – Today I lost the most important person in my life,father-the everlasting candle.Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. उनके इस ट्वीट के बाद अफगानिस्तान टीम के खिलाड़ी मोहम्मद नाबी ने भी उनके लिए ट्वीट किया। उन्होंने लिखा – With deep sorrow I have been informed that Afghanistan National Cricket team player and my dear friend, Rashid khan’s father passed away. I would like to express my deep condolences to Rashid khan and his family. May Allah award his father the Jannah.@rashidkhan_19
बता दें कि 31 जनवरी की शाम को वो बिग बैश लीग में एडिलेड स्ट्राइकर्स की ओर से मैच खेलने उतरेंगे। एडिलेड स्ट्राइकर्स ने भी राशिद के लिए ट्वीट लिखा – We’re very sorry for your loss, Rashid. The whole Strikers family is here for you
