रांची : झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा (JMM) की राज्य सभा सांसद ( MP) महुआ मांझी एक सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल हो गई हैं. जानकारी के मुताबिक वह महाकुंभ से लौट रही थीं. लातेहार के होटवाग गांव में उनकी गाड़ी का एक्सीडेंट हो गया जिसमें वाहन का अगला हिस्सा क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया और महुआ मांझी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गईं.
घटना नेशनल हाइवे-39 पर बुधवार सुबह करीब चार बजे की है. राज्य सभा सांसद महुआ मांझी महाकुंभ में स्नान कर प्रयागराज से लौट रही थीं कि रास्ते में उनकी गाड़ी हादसे का शिकार हो गई. दुर्घटनाग्रस्त वाहन में सवार महुआ मांझी को गंभीर चोटें आई हैं.
प्राथमिक इलाज के लिए उन्हें सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया और बाद में बेहतर इलाज के लिए रांची रिम्स रेफर कर दिया गया. बता दें कि महुआ मांझी हिन्दी की बड़ी साहित्यकारों में से एक हैं और समाजसेवा के क्षेत्र में जाना पहचाना नाम है. वह हेमंत सोरेन के परिवार की करीबी मानी जाती हैं और लंबे समय से जेएमएम महिला मोर्चा की अध्यक्ष हैं.
जेएमएम ने पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव में महुआ मांझी को रांची सीट से टिकट देकर चुनावी मैदान में उतारा था लेकिन उन्हें भारतीय जनता पार्टी के उम्मीदवार चंद्रेश्वर प्रसाद सिंह से हार का सामना करना पड़ा था. सीपी सिंह ने जेएमएम प्रत्याशी महुआ मांझी को करीब 22000 वोटों से मात दी थी.
