चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के फाइनल में टॉस की भूमिका अहम होगी, ‘टॉस’ को लेकर बैचेन दिखे मिचेल सैंटनर
नई दिल्ली : इंडिया और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच दुबई में रविवार 9 मार्च को चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 का फाइनल मुकाबला खेला जाना है। इस मुकाबले से पहले न्यूजीलैंड की टीम के कप्तान मिचेल सैंटनर टॉस को लेकर घबराए हुए हैं। उन्होंने सेमीफाइनल के बाद इस बात को स्वीकार कर लिया है कि चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के फाइनल में टॉस की भूमिका अहम होगी। सेमीफाइनल मैच में न्यूजीलैंड ने लाहौर में साउथ अफ्रीका को 50 रन से हराकर फाइनल का टिकट हासिल किया है। साल 2000 के बाद पहली बार इंडिया और न्यूजीलैंड की भिड़ंत फाइनल में होगी।
न्यूजीलैंड की टीम लीग मैच में दुबई के मैदान पर भारत के खिलाफ मुकाबला हार चुकी है। उस मैच में कीवी टीम के कप्तान ने टॉस जीतकर गेंदबाजी चुनी थी। वहीं, सेमीफाइनल के बाद फाइनल को लेकर सैंटनर से पूछा गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि वह फाइनल में टॉस जीतना चाहेंगे, क्योंकि पिछले मैच में वे भारत पर दबाव बनाने में सफल रहे थे। दुबई में हर एक टीम टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करना ही पसंद कर रही है, क्योंकि दूसरी पारी में चेज करना काफी कठिन होता है।
