भोपाल : मध्य प्रदेश में त्रिस्तरीय (ग्राम, जनपद और जिला) पंचायत के पहले चरण के चुनाव का प्रचार आज दोपहर तीन बजे से थम जाएगा। 25 जून को सुबह सात से तीन बजे तक मतदान होगा। इसके बाद मतदान केंद्र स्तरीय मतगणना प्रारंभ होगी पर परिणामों की घोषणा नहीं की जाएगी। विकासखंड स्तर पर होने वाली मतगणना 28 जून को होगी।
पंच, सरपंच और जनपद पंचायत के सदस्य पद के परिणामों की घोषणा एक साथ 14 जुलाई को की जाएगी। जिला पंचायत के सदस्य पद के लिए मतों की गणना 15 जुलाई को जिला मुख्यालय पर होगी। भोपाल, इंदौर, ग्वालियर, नरसिंहपुर और हरदा जिले में पंचायत चुनाव पहले चरण में पूरा हो जाएगा।
राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि मतदान समाप्ति से 48 घंटे पहले चुनाव प्रचार थम जाएगा। इस दौरान सार्वजनिक सभा प्रतिबंधित रहेगी। शराब की दुकानें भी निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में बंद रखी जाएंगी। पहले चरण में 115 जनपद पंचायत और आठ हजार 702 ग्राम पंचायतों के चुनाव होंगे।
